"I was overwhelmed by climate change. After all, what can one individual do? Nobody's perfect, but since using COyou2 personal carbon capture system, I can sleep soundly at night knowing I'm part of the solution, not the problem."
- Laura, age 36, mother of three. Has already prevented the release of 0.15tonnes of her own CO2 by using COyou2.
"It's so easy to use, I can't imagine what life was like before COyou2. To think I was thoughtlessly emitting all that carbon into the atmosphere just by breathing! How selfish. Now I have a much smaller impact on Mother Earth."
- Justin, 23, university student.
"It's so confusing to know how to live green, but COyou2 makes things simple! All I do is flick a switch. And the kids love it."
- Simon, 42, IT professional and father of two.
"I've been composting, refusing plastic bags and walking to work for years, but C0you2 is the final addition to my green lifestyle. Since using C0you2 personal carbon capture system, I've realised living green doesn't have to mean making big sacrifices. Just one simple purchase has changed my life! It's almost too good to be true!"
- Lauren, 31, primary school teacher.
Australian Defence Department
“The greatest challenge and biggest opportunity for Defence to make a real difference to climate change is reach out and encourage individuals to take action when at work, but also to take action back in their home and community life. The Combat Climate Change initiative aims to give advice and information about ways individuals can lessen their carbon footprint in the office and at home in easy and simple ways.”
BHP Billiton
BHP Billiton's plan also involves encouraging staff to limit their emissions and encouraging communities in which BHP operates - in 25 countries around the world - to limit their emissions.
Mr Goodyear says the company has a program for reimbursing its staff for half the cost of energy-efficient light bulbs in their homes.
"We've given them an opportunity to do their own energy assessments - again we pick up half of that cost - and we're also giving them opportunities to offset our own carbon emissions through a company-approved scheme," he said.
Shell
"The idea is simple: capture CO2 from heavy industry including refineries and power plants, and then inject it deep underground where it can be trapped for thousands of years."
